Intro to Pinhole Photography
During this introductory workshop to pinhole photography participants will use found and recycled objects and turn them into functioning cameras.
Using black and white photographic techniques, a mini darkroom and simple chemistry we will explore the fundamentals of photography through light capture.
With our unique DIY pinhole cameras we will play around with long exposure techniques to photograph objects, ourselves, each other and things we come across in the workshop space.
Your facilitator Jess will work with you to perfect your cameras to the best of their ability and teach you how to continue the process at home.
Participants may bring their own hollow objects to turn into cameras or utilise objects provided. All materials are provided and no experience is necessary.
